Life can be filled with challenges and unexpected interruptions. I believe that everyone has the tools and strengths needed to overcome their own unique obstacles. Using a strengths-based approach, I enjoy helping people build on the skills they have to be the healthiest version of themselves.
I graduated with a master’s degree in school counseling in 2010 and a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2018. My background is comprised of college and career counseling, adolescent anxiety, couples counseling, health and wellbeing in higher education, and working with new mothers, experiencing postpartum depression. I specialize in postpartum support and the high school to college transition.
I aim to provide a safe, judgement-free space for you to feel comfortable to express yourself, create your own path and celebrate your story. With the belief that everyone is capable of becoming the best version of themselves, I would love to help you learn and grow from your experiences!
I am excited to begin working with groups in the upcoming months! Please look out for the groups listed below:
Postpartum / New Baby Support Group
Giving birth comes with its own set of challenges. New babies can be overwhelming and rewarding. This group is open to new mothers and mothers of multiples. The goal of this group is to offer non-biased support, encouragement and validation to mothers who are struggling with the daily obstacles of adjusting to a new baby.
Adolescent Anxiety Group
The path from childhood to adulthood can be terrifying and confusing. With all of the physical and emotional changes within adolescent development, this experience can seem impossible to navigate. The goal of this group is to help teens guide and support one another through this journey so they can enjoy their teenage life.
