I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and I graduated from the University of Hartford in 2008. For the past 16 years, I have worked for a program funded by Court Support Services Division (CSSD) with a forensic population.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to meet my clients where they are and assist them in developing coping skills and improved ways to manage life’s difficulties. I believe being met with empathy, compassion, and understanding is the key to facilitating change.
Everyone struggles sometimes and it can be scary to ask for help, but I think reaching out is a brave and empowering thing to do. I like to keep a relaxed and non-judgmental environment and place an emphasis on trust and respect. I look forward to accompanying you on your journey.
