As a Licensed Social Worker, I have dedicated myself to helping others since 2017. My journey began with a Bachelor's degree from the University of Puerto Rico in Humacao. After Hurricane Maria's impact,
I decided to relocate to Connecticut, bringing with me a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by the Spanish-speaking community, especially when it comes to finding accessible and empathetic counseling services.
Recognizing the importance of having someone who truly understands your language and culture, I pursued my Master's degree at the University of St. Joseph in 2021. I aim to be a trusted and supportive
resource for those navigating difficult times, particularly within the Spanish-speaking community.
I know life changes can feel overwhelming, and reaching out for help takes great courage. I specialize in working with adults and older individuals who may be facing challenges such as depression, trauma, anxiety, substance use, suicidal thoughts, or simply adjusting to new phases in life. In our sessions, I use motivational interviewing to gently guide you, meet you where you are, and support you in achieving your
personal goals.
My approach is centered on creating a non judgmental, safe, and welcoming space where you can feel honestly heard and understood. I am
here to walk with you on your journey, offering the compassion and support you need to find healing and strength.
