LPC / LADC | Therapist
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) through the State of Connecticut Department of Public Health. After graduating with my undergraduate degree in Social Work I began working at a residential treatment program for individuals with severe mental health disorders. Throughout this experience I realized I was passionate about helping people improve their mental health.

I graduated with my master’s degree in Counseling from Central Connecticut State University and began working at the Root Center for Advanced Recovery. I have extensive experience and knowledge with substance use issues, co-occurring disorders such as depression and anxiety as well as life transitions. I utilize a Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET) approach as well as a strengths-based perspective when meeting with clients both individually and in group therapy. Most importantly, I meet my clients where they are and work to promote both hope and courage as they face challenges.
I believe that everyone has the ability to make positive changes in their lives and it’s my goal to help people realize their potential and find their strengths. I like to keep a laid-back and calm environment with a strong emphasis on the therapeutic relationship in order to always maintain trust and respect.
