Mariah Santana
LMFTA | Therapist
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate with over two years of clinical experience providing compassionate, culturally responsive care to clients across the lifespan. While I work with children, teens, and adults, I specialize in supporting adolescents and adults as they navigate life’s challenges and prioritize their mental health and healing.
I graduated from National University in San Diego, CA, where I was trained through a systemic lens that recognizes the powerful connection between individual experiences and relational dynamics. I utilize a trauma-informed, collaborative, and strength-focused approach, tailoring treatment to each client’s unique needs. My work supports individuals, couples, and families in building insight, improving communication, and developing practical tools and coping strategies for meaningful change and growth.
I have experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds, including members of the LGBTQIA+ community and the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community. As a clinician fluent in both English and American Sign Language, I am passionate about increasing accessibility and creating affirming spaces where clients feel understood and supported. I have worked extensively with ADHD, anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, stress, anger management, behavioral concerns, parenting challenges, and relationship issues.
As a Caucasian Puerto Rican woman who personally understands the impact of anxiety and ADHD, I bring authenticity, empathy, and relatability into the therapy space. I believe vulnerability fosters connection, and I strive to create a safe, trusting environment where clients feel empowered to grow.
I offer both in-office and telehealth sessions to provide flexible, accessible care tailored to your needs.
